This buy to let property took a bit of a hammering and ended up needing a a partial re-build.
This is a few weeks into the project. The party wall is repaired, the party stack is repaired, and we’ve just laid the ornamental stone guttering which had to be specially ordered and made.
Each small block, not much bigger than a small box, weighs 13st and took two of us to carry up the stairs and then pass through the window onto the scaffolding. Luckily the stairs took the weight.
Although not a sitaution where I’ve bought to do-up and then sell-on, it ‘s still an interesting case study in putting a property back together again.
Who says property renovation isn’t exciting?
